Interesting Facts:
While living in Cleveland, highlights included being a member of the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus, under the direction of Robert Shaw; and the orchestra was under the direction of George Szell. Several times we went to NYC to sing in Carnegie Hall; and then to be part of the opening ceremonies of Blossom Music Center. The Orchestra played Beethoven's 9th Symphony and the chorus sang with the final movement. Very, very special memories. The rehearsal pianist during those years in the 60's was young James (Jimmie) Levine!
