On April 20, 2009, our annual merit scholarship was awarded. This year's winner was Phi Chapter member Ralena Bevington.
Ralena performed two vocal numbers for the Alumni and then received her award from Alumni Treasurer Betty Davis
The Tightly Wound String Band members John Whitacre and Dennis Kempthorne informed and entertained the Alliance Alumni with fiddles, mandolin, and guitar music of Colonial America. They even got us dancing a contradance!
